PhD candidate

Biomedical from the Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil. During graduation, she carried out research in two major areas: Neuroendocrine Physiology and Population Genetics. She is a PhD candidate at the European Institute for the Biology of Aging (ERIBA), in the Abel Tasman Talent Program, under the supervision of Dr. Marco Demaria, and by the Graduate Program in Cellular and Molecular Biology at PUCRS, Brazil, being co-supervised by Profª. Dr. Florencia M. Barbé-Tuana. Currently, her project consists of investigating the cellular and molecular characteristics of microglia in the context of aging.
