About my research

 I am interested in how the maternal immune system adapts during pregnancy and how these changes contribute to tolerance of the fetus and optimal placental development. My research focuses on the consequences of failed adaptations of the maternal immune system and how this is linked to placental insufficiency in fetal growth restriction.
