Making a difference for people with psychosis

The aim of my work is to improve outcome for people with complex brain disorders, especially those with psychosis. This implies better understanding of what happens when people develop psychosis and at the same time creating new opportunities for better treatment. I coordinate several consortia, like NoGutsNoGlory, to investigate the effects of healthy nutrition, HAMLETT Ophelia, a Dutch collaboration assessing the long-term impact of antipsychotic treatment, TRUSTING, an EU Horizon funded project aiming to use speech and language markers to predict relapse psychosis and Delta Lang, an EU funded Synergy project to understand the role of language in psychosis. I much enjoy sharing our findings with a larger audience in books, columns, podcasts or lectures.
