Researching clinical and public health challenges in snakebite envenoming

Snakebite envenoming is a neglected tropical disease primarily affecting people in the tropics and subtropics. My research covers topics such as health seeking behaviour, clinical presentation and clinical management of snakebite patients in the countries of Ghana and Eswatini. Our results can inform public health interventions, improve hospital-based care and highlight current gaps in evidence that can be addressed through future research.
