When applying AI, collaboration is key. But how do you actually integrate AI effectively into your strategy and how do you find the right partners? That and more took centre stage at the AI Congress at the wonderful Forum Groningen last Friday, October 28.

This interesting event on 'The smart power of the network' was jointly organised by Samenwerking Noord and AI-hub Noord-Nederland. The day kicked off with an interactive introduction by Wijnand Aalderink, followed by interesting presentations by Lucas Simons (NewForesight) and Kees van der Klauw (Nederlandse AI Coalitie | NL AIC). 

DASH facilitated various programme aspects to ensure that data science in healthcare was well represented. For instance, participants in the 'Tension field between humans and AI' session were able to discuss the implementation of AI in healthcare using our AIProHealth serious game 'AI Hospital'. During her short intro presentation, Mirjam Plantinga already gave good food for thought on certain requirements for responsible AI, as well as biases in AI. An interesting day, where many good contacts were made.
