Rapid advancements in data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) call for a new generation of clinicians and (clinical) scientists, who are able to develop and introduce new prediction models and treatment strategies in healthcare. Therefore, we are organising another edition this year, from 4 to 8 July. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Summer School will again be held online this year.
The aim of this new Summer School is to introduce young, enthusiastic researchers to the principles of data science and AI in healthcare and clinical research. Participants will be introduced to various aspects of data science, such as setting up and implementing a project. This includes both the collection and cleaning of data and the practical conduct of an initial (machine learning) analysis of the collected data.
In addition to the educational program with interesting lectures and workshops by professors in the field of data science and AI, there is an elaborate social program to get to know each other better.
