Treatment landscape of treatment-resistant depression

After completing my studies in Medicine and working as a general practitioner for two years in Brazil, I pursued a Research Master in Clinical and Psychosocial Epidemiology - Track Health Systems and Prevention at the UMCG. I am currently working as a PhD researcher investigating the positioning of conventional and novel pharmacological agents in the treatment landscape of treatment-resistant depression. My research involves evaluating treatment resistance in clinical practice, investigating potential predictors of treatment response and exploring the underlying mechanisms of novel pharmacological treatments.
