AHON holds the healthcare data of almost half a million patients. These data are stored in a special place, namely the AHON database, and are made available for medical scientific research.

Valuable source for researchers

The AHON database contains information on patients' complaints, diagnoses, medication and referrals in Primary Care. For researchers inside and outside the UMCG, this is a valuable resource to work with!

Nynke Schouwenaars (Coordinator at AHON), Feikje Groenhof (Senior Data Manager AHON database) and dr. Lilian Peters (Epidemiologist) tell more about the AHON database and the opportunities it offers in terms of research.
