Lipid Metabolism & Intracellular Trafficking

My research delves into the molecular mechanisms that control lipid metabolism and the endo-lysosomal transport of cholesterol and receptors, both in health and disease. By uncovering how these processes work, I aim to deepen our understanding of cardiometabolic diseases and pave the way for discovering new therapeutic targets. Ultimately, this work holds promise for developing treatments for conditions like fatty liver disease and atherosclerosis.
