PETRA

Personalized digital diary
Personalized digital diary
Personalised Treatment by Real-time Assessment (PETRA) enables you to track your symptoms and wellbeing on a daily basis through a digital diary on your smartphone. PETRA is a web-based tool that is integrated into the electronic patient record. It allows patients, together with their clinician, to create a personalised diary and analyse the collected data. PETRA is more than just a diary — it consists of a collection of modules designed to support individuals experiencing (mental) health difficulties in various ways.

Who is it for?

PETRA is intended for adults undergoing treatment for mental health problems. The focus is on clients with mood, anxiety and/or psychotic symptoms, whether or not these are accompanied by physical complaints, the menstrual cycle, or contextual (e.g. social) factors. PETRA can be used by a range of professionals including mental health nurses, psychologists, and psychiatrists. It is available to all healthcare institutions that use RoQua.
Is your institution not yet using RoQua? Feel free to get in touch with us.

Why use PETRA?

Research shows that diary-based assessments can offer many benefits for both clients and clinicians. Personalised diary measurements can help:

  • Better understand when your symptoms arise and what you can do to manage them
  • Strengthen your sense of ownership and self-management
  • Increase your control and involvement in your treatment
  • Improve communication and collaboration with your clinician
