I hold a PhD in Health Sciences from the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of Groningen. I am a registered epidemiologist and a Senior Teaching Qualification (STQ) holder. I am passionate about education and fascinated by innovation in how we teach and learn. My work spans health professions education, epidemiology education, and AI in education and research, with a strong focus on building AI literacy and preparing students for a digital health future. I believe learning should be evidence-based, inclusive, and enjoyable. I am committed to coaching junior teachers and supporting the next generation of educators to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
