Understanding gait through wearable technology

 My research focuses on using wearable sensors and machine learning to understand human gait. I combine IMUs and plantar-pressure measurements with laboratory gait analysis to estimate a broad range of gait parameters and examine changes during prosthetic walking. My goal is to develop accurate and practical assessment methods that can eventually be used beyond the laboratory to support the evaluation and improvement of walking with a lower-limb prosthesis.
