Human Genetics and Epigenetics for Disease Prevention and Personalized Care

My expertise is in applying quantitative and computational methods to the analysis of human genetic and epigenetic data. I am trained in mathematics and computer science and later completed a master’s degree and a PhD in bioinformatics. My research focuses on understanding the biological causes of disease and identifying biomarkers for early detection. I am particularly interested in disease prevention, whether through uncovering disease mechanisms, improving management strategies, or detecting risk before symptoms appear. My motivation is to move from generalized medical care to personalized care based on an individual’s genome. I believe that tailoring prevention and treatment to each patient can improve clinical outcomes, reduce unnecessary interventions, and lower overall healthcare costs.
