As secretary of the UMCG Research B.V., my mission is to support colleagues, be the point of contact for questions, connect people and create peace in the work dynamics. I manage offers and contracts from preparation to validation, ensuring a seamless process for our project managers, our researchers, and our projects. I am your primary contact for any inquiries regarding progress. Additionally, I handle diary management and meticulously plan both internal and external meetings, including project evaluations, to ensure smooth operations. I also keep our website up-to-date and oversee the functional ICT management of our department, ensuring our digital tools are always optimized for project needs. With a diverse background as a freelance journalist and homeopath, coupled with 14 years of part-time experience at the University of Groningen, I bring a unique perspective. My transition to UMCG was driven by a desire to acquire new skills and foster both professional development and personal growth, all of which I now leverage to enhance Research B.V. services.
