Cellular senescence in kidney injuries

My primary research expertise lies in cellular senescence and nephrology. My work focuses on uncovering the spatial origin, timing of induction, and functional heterogeneity of senescent cells in acute kidney injury and kidney transplantation. By addressing these critical gaps, I aim to clarify how senescence influences both tissue repair and the progression of chronic pathology, ultimately identifying new therapeutic windows for targeted intervention.
