As a technician it is my job to ensure the proper and safe functioning of new and existing laboratory equipment that is needed and used for human-related research and medical physiology practicals. I was trained as an electronics engineer and my daily work consists of advising, designing, building, purchasing, modifying, connecting and repairing a diverse range of machines that consist of a mix of electronics and mechanics.
