Research Impact Officer

As the Research Impact Officer, I support researchers in showing the beneficial influence their research has on society. My goal is to use research support tools like stakeholder identification and engagement, public campaigns, and outreach events in a strategic way in order to reach measurable impact. I have gained an understanding of the importance of showcasing societal impact of research when I worked in the Higher Education Sector in the United Kingdom. Me and my colleagues in the UMCG Impact Team are passionate about making sure researchers have the knowledge and network they need to progress their impact project.
