Assistant Professor Profile
Assistant Professor

In my research I aim to understand and improve human walking in clinical populations, such as stroke and Parkinson's Disease. I am specialized in the neuromechanics of human movement and use a combination of experimental studies and computational modelling to develop models of neural control impairments. My research is founded on the principles of biomechanics, motor control, neuroscience and exercise physiology. I collaborate with national and international experts in the fields of neurology, rehabilitation medicine and mechanical engineering to enhance the transfer from science to the clinic and industry.
