PPP IMPACT program

Second round of the PPP IMPACT Call opens for PPP subsidy funding

The Innovative Machine Perfusion for Advancing Clinical Transplantation (IMPACT) PPP Program has launched the second round of its Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) Innovation Subsidy Call, offering consortia the opportunity to apply for the remaining PPP allowance to accelerate translational research and development in organ transplantation technologies.

The programme is embedded within the national PPP framework of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy and delivered through Health~Holland, the Top Sector Life Sciences & Health (LSH). It is jointly driven by Erasmus MC and University Medical Center Groningen.

The IMPACT Program supports public-private collaborations that advance machine perfusion technologies for organ preservation, assessment and repair. A total of €400,000 subsidy is available for the Call. By strengthening cooperation between healthcare institutions and industry, the programme aims to improve organ viability, enhance regeneration and reduce immunogenicity, contributing to better transplantation outcomes and positioning the Netherlands as a global leader in this field.
