I am a full Professor in the Department of Biomaterials and Biomedical Technology. I am curious and have a great passion for all natural sciences. Ever since I can remember I wanted to understand how the world works. To achieve that goal I have assembled an interdisciplinary team to develop quantum sensing microscopy methods which we apply in living cells, tissues, or even patient samples. In addition to my academic work I am founder of QTsense, a spin off company which commercialises quantum sensing microscopes (www.qtsense.com).
