Cardiopulmonary interactions in critically ill infants and children

 We aim to better understand the interaction between invasive mechanical ventilation and the cardiovascular function. This in both our total population of critically ill infants and children, as well as in specific populations like patients after cardiac surgery. By gaining a better understanding of these mechanisms we plan to improve patient outcomes.
