ONCO-Q project is granted

It was just announced that the ONCO-Q project has been funded with almost 2 mln EUR by SNN. The project is lead by QTsense, a BBT spin off company from Romana Schirhagl’s group.
In the project a consortium consisting of QTsense, Life Cooperative the UMCG (Schirhagl (BBT), Kruijff (Surgical Oncology)) and RUG (Fodran, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Biology — Groningen Research Institute of Pharmacy) will investigate how diamond based quantum sensing can be used to diagnose colon cancer and predict drug efficacy.
