In conducting my research, I advise on policy in the field of vaccinations and cost effectiveness, both in the Netherlands and internationally. I think it is important that research has an effect and can bring about a change in opinion. In addition, as a professor, it gives me satisfaction to train new generations to become independent researchers and to allow them to grow in their research and skills.
