I am a nurse at the emergency department and projectcoordinator of Acutelines in the UMCG. My research focuses on improving care for acute ill non-trauma patients who are admitted to the ED with suspected infection or sepsis. In the future, I hope to optimize a care pathway for these patients, to create a more personalized approach and to improve prevention of (re-)admission due to infection or sepsis. My project is embedded in Acutelines, a hospital-based data-biobank facilitating acute care and emergency research.
