Worldwide there is an increasing demand for healthcare with increasing pressure on healthcare budgets. It is therefore important to balance the best care with value for money, both for the individual and for society as a whole. Health economics and outcomes research helps us make informed decisions to improve patient access to healthcare innovations within available resources. With my research I want to contribute to cost-effective and affordable health promotion that is essential for a sustainable healthcare system.
