“I am a PhD-candidate and my main research focus is on the antidepressant effects of ketamine. My aim is to develop safe and effective new treatment options for the most severely ill patients with psychiatric disorders. I believe psychedelics offer a unique treatment strategy by combining substances and psychotherapy, with transdiagnostic potential. Furthermore, I work as a psychiatrist on the Depression Clinic in The Hague, where we provide off-label oral esketamine treatment to patients with depression.”
