Hands-on workshop: Research tools & support
Are you working with data science or machine learning at UMCG, or planning to start a project soon? This hands-on workshop provides an introduction to the research tools, infrastructure and support available within UMCG to help you work efficiently, securely and collaboratively.

You will explore the key steps in data-driven research, from data storage and management to analysis and deployment. Along the way, you will gain practical experience with UMCG research environments and learn how to safely store and share data, collaborate with partners and access expert support. 

This workshop focuses on the tools and support surrounding data science and machine learning research. It does not cover machine learning methods or data science techniques themselves. Sessions are offered multiple times throughout the year and are held in English. Participants are asked to bring a fully charged laptop to make the most of the hands-on exercises.
