My goal as a Project Manager of the UMCG Research BV is to support research in the UMCG by optimizing the success of grant applications (pre-award) as well as managing previously granted research projects (post‑award). I have an academic degree in biomedical sciences (dual specialization: immunology and management, policy analysis and entrepreneurship) and a PhD in immunology. Before joining the UMCG Research BV, I worked in academia as well as in industry (biotech / contract research) in the Netherlands and abroad. These experiences have allowed me to combine my academic background with industry experience and meanwhile develop broad project management skills. I am excited to join the UMCG Research BV and to use my knowledge and expertise to contribute to innovation in the health and life sciences.
