Professor of Clinical Movement Sciences

I'm intrigued by the fascinating elegance of the human movement system. In my research I aim to reveal the underlying biomechanical and physiological mechanism of skilled and efficient human locomotion. I apply this knowledge to understand and improve impaired walking ability in various patient populations, with emphasis on the development and optimization of assistive technology, such as prostheses and orthoses.
