About my research

 I’m currently a PhD student at the department of epidemiology. My project is about dynamic prediction model for adverse outcomes of gestational hypertension/mild pre-eclampsia. The existing related models are suboptimal because the predicted composite adverse outcomes include events of unequal severity and they were developed to predict adverse outcomes at the start of a follow-up period. I’m aimed at constructing models that incorporate the dynamics of disease progression and the severity of adverse outcomes so as to aid clinical decision-making further.
