Understanding asthma before it starts

 Parents often ask me how they can prevent asthma in their child, or avoid another severe attack. These unanswered questions drive my research. Together with a multidisciplinary team, I study how early-life environmental exposures shape airway biology to enable earlier prediction, personalized care and, ultimately, prevention of childhood asthma.
