Understanding biology to improve health

 I am driven by the idea that better health begins with understanding the fundamental biology underlying disease. Using a range of cell and animal models, I apply advanced techniques such as CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing and RNA sequencing to uncover how genes shape biological processes. By generating new scientific knowledge, I aim to contribute to real-world improvements in healthcare for patients and families.
