Researcher integrating patient perspectives into care improvement

 My passion lies in improving care for people with multimorbidity and rare (endocrine) disorders, both within Europe and beyond. As a researcher, nursing scientist, and international patient advocate, I combine science, practice, and patient perspectives to create more transparent, innovative, and patient-centered care. In my PhD research, I explore how patient experiences and professional insights can enhance self-management and care coordination, aiming to improve the quality of life for patients. By aligning patient needs with evidence-based practices, I strive to bridge gaps in care and foster sustainable, patient-focused healthcare solutions.
