I obtained my PhD from the Humboldt University of Berlin, and trained as a postdoc at the Max Delbruck Center (MDC) in Berlin, Germany. I moved to the Leibniz Institute on Aging – Fritz Lippman Institute in Jena, Germany, as a senior investigator. I joined ERIBA in 2013. My work focuses on the function of C/EBP transcription factors in cancer and aging.
