Researcher, Postdoctoral researcher, Human movement scientist

I’m a Human Movement Scientist working at the Center for Rehabilitation and the Pain Center of the UMCG. My research focuses on sustained physical activity and health during rehabilitation, as well as in the transition to home and participation in society. I study the interplay between fatigue, pain, and self-management, aiming to better understand how these factors influence physical capacity and daily functioning. I’m passionate about diving into complex data using advanced statistical techniques like longitudinal and mixed model analyses. I especially enjoy working with large cohort datasets and clinical registries to uncover meaningful insights. In addition to my research activities, I support colleagues in the design phase of their studies and provide guidance on statistical analyses and data interpretation.
