Advancing diabetes care through exercise physiology

 My research focuses on type 1 diabetes, exercise physiology, and cardiometabolic health. I am particularly interested in understanding how physical fitness, exercise capacity, and glycaemic control interact to influence long-term health outcomes. Through clinical research, I aim to improve our understanding of the physiological mechanisms underlying exercise performance in people with type 1 diabetes and to translate these insights into personalised strategies that support healthy, active lives.
