Biology of bleeding and thrombosis

I work on the pathogenesis of bleeding and thrombosis combining laboratory models with studies in humans. Bleeding and thrombosis are complications encountered in nearly every clinical specialty, and I enjoy collaborating with a broad variety of medical specialties. My specific expertise is in bleeding and thrombosis in patients with liver disease including those requiring liver transplant surgery.
