Cohorts Network to be activated globally in outbreaks
Cohorts Network to be activated globally in outbreaks
CONTAGIO is a global consortium of investigators working to develop rapid response tools for future disease outbreaks. We are building the infrastructure to fight the next pandemic.

Moving beyond epidemic response to proactive preparedness

The project consists of five work packages (WPs). CONTAGIO WP1 is led and coordinated by the UMCG and co-led by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

CONTAGIO Work Packages

The overall aim of WP1 is to develop a rapid research response platform to tackle epidemics or pandemics of (re-)emerging infections diseases in the Global South and low-and-middle income countries (LMICs), including a toolbox for cohort maintenance during interepidemic periods.
