ZonMW Hoofdzaken grant awarded to UMCG researchers Inge R. Holtman and Bart Eggen

The project titled "Data infrastructure for the Netherlands Brain Bank: Netherlands Neurogenomics Database 2.0 (NND 2.0)" has been awarded €650,000 in funding from the ZonMW Hoofdzaken program. The aim of the project is to make knowledge and data related to brain research more accessible and shareable.

As part of NND 2.0, the involved researchers will develop a new infrastructure for the Netherlands Brain Bank (NHB) to enable data-driven research and data-based selection of tissue and donors. Among other things, the project team will create new cloud-based interfaces that provide user-friendly access to clinical, neuropathological, and genetic data.
