C/EBPβ-LIP in Immune Escape of Triple-Negative Breast Cancer

Building on my research background in breast cancer, my PhD project focuses on the role of the transcription factor C/EBPβ-LIP in regulating immune evasion in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). TNBC is highly aggressive and metastatic, lacks effective targeted therapies, and shows limited responsiveness to immunotherapy. Our group has found that the LIP/LAP ratio is abnormally elevated in TNBC, and that LIP is associated with immune defense–related pathways. My research aims to elucidate the molecular mechanisms by which C/EBPβ-LIP mediates immune evasion in TNBC, with the goal of identifying potential strategies to improve immunotherapeutic outcomes.
