Bile acid metabolism on liver function

 How bile acids shape liver (patho)physiology? My research focuses on unraveling bile acid metabolism and its interaction with the gut–liver axis to understand why changes in these small molecular can have profound effects on liver health. By decoding how diet, microbiota, and hepatic pathways jointly regulate bile acid homeostasis, I aim to uncover mechanisms that can be translated into new strategies for preventing and treating liver diseases.
