Pathologist

I’m associate professor in neuropathology at the dept of Pathology and Medical Biology and chair of the Dutch Society of Neuropathology as well as the educational committee of Euro-CNS. Furthermore I’m a member of the Registration Committee for Medical Specialists. My research focusses on neurodegenerative diseases and neuro-oncology. I’m especially interested in pathways and intercellular communication leading to cell death.
