UMCG signs Gender Equality Plan

Board chairman Ate van der Zee signed the Gender Equality Plan on behalf of the UMCG. In 2022, research organisations and higher education institutions must have a gender equality plan when applying for research funding from the Horizon Europe innovation and research programme. This is a mandatory requirement when assessing application at Horizon Europe.

The board of directors sees a great opportunity to show the vision of the UMCG in the field of gender equality, diversity and inclusion. The document provides an overview of the development, initiatives and instruments that are already present and will be continued or further developed within care, education and training and research.
