Trials with relevance for clinical practice

My main expertise is developing, implementing and coordinating large-scale clinical trials in the field of psychiatry, mostly psychosis, across a network of excellent research centers in the UK, Europe and Israel. Through these trials we aim to provide answers to clinically relevant questions, such as, does it benefit a patient who does not respond to their first antipsychotic to switch to another, and after how long? Does it benefit a patient to use depot antipsychotics instead of oral medication? Next to new compounds that are being studied, the optimal use for the treatments currently available provides an important opportunity for improving care.
