Connecting nutritional science and dietetic practice

 Through different research projects I hope to bridge the gap between nutritional science and daily dietetic practice, and work towards evidence-based improvement in nutritional care. My research more specifically focuses on the recognition of disease-related malnutrition in hospital patients including transplant recipients. As a research coordinator of the Department of Dietetics, I consult with both clinical dietitians and researchers to design, conduct and collaborate on thorough and impactful research related to nutrition and health.
