Exploring the biological impact of FLASH proton therapy on the spinal cord

 My research is to explore how FLASH proton therapy, an emerging ultra-high dose-rate radiation technique, affects the spinal cord. Understanding how normal tissues respond to FLASH irradiation may help explain the biological mechanisms behind the FLASH effect. This work aims to support the development of safer radiotherapy treatments with fewer long-term side effects for patients.
