Language decline and Brain Connectivity in Ageing Population

 I am interested in the connection between language and cognition and how they change with age. My research explores linguistic and neurocognitive markers of cognitive decline to improve early detection. To achieve this goal, we are using different linguistic tasks and both behavioural and neuroimaging techniques (fNIRS and EEG). Language is more than communication—it offers a window into cognitive health. By bridging neuroscience and clinical linguistics, I hope to contribute to a better understanding of ageing and cognitive decline.
