Arno Bourgonje of the Department of Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases has received a Rubicon Award from ZonMW.

Important stepping stone
The ZonMW programme Rubicon allows recently promoted scientists to gain experience at a top foreign institute. This is an important stepping stone for a scientific career. Bourgonje will spend 18 months doing research at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York.
