In my research, I primarily focus on finding better ways to predict deterioration in patients with a suspected infection at the emergency department. I do this using continuous measured, high-resolution bedside waveforms such as ECG and PPG. This way I am aiming to provide better tools to improve care for patients with early sepsis at the ED.
