Professor Ruurd L. Jaarsma

Professor Ruurd Jaarsma is Director of the Double Degree Joint Doctorate PhD Program between the Department of Orthopedic Trauma Surgery at Flinders University Medical Centre and the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University Medical Centre Groningen.

High Potential PhD students are enrolled at both Flinders University as well as the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen in the Double Degree Program, and spend at least 1 year in Adelaide Australia, and at least 1 year in Groningen, to ultimately obtain an Australian as well as a Dutch PhD Degree.
